As reported yesterday, Kier Groups half-year results
showed continued growth for the company. Caxton FM, part of the Kier Group,
has also increased its full-year by 29% to £18.4m.
Clive Thomas, Managing Director and Chairman of Caxton FM, commented:
"These are quite staggering figures. We have increased our staff
levels to 320 full-time employees and we are now looking towards the year
2001 with a budget of £27m. We have certainly come a long way from
a small facilities management company and are moving towards the top of
the league."
Colin Busby, Chairman of the Kier Group, said: "The focusing of our
facilities management and other support services activities, and their
expansion, has gathered momentum. During the year significant long-term
contracts were awarded which will impact in the future. Our support services
order book now stands at over £350m."
