Jarvis has reached financial close with the University
of York for the design, building and 30 year maintenance of 742 new
post-graduate study bedrooms (see News
story).
The total development cost for the development, which will come into
operation in two phases, will be some £23m and the whole life
value £72m, including approximately £17m of facilities management
and life cycle maintenance costs.
Professor Ron Cooke, vice chancellor of the University of York said:
"The partnership with Jarvis will ensure that the University will
continue to provide its students with the very best facilities."
