AMEC Facilities has announced a new management structure
for its resident business unit which will increase flexibility to its
account management structure and improve customer service.
Alan Horton has been appointed as General Manager, taking
full responsibility for the operation and management of the FM Business
Unit. Alan has experience in the maintenance and FM industry, more recently
holding senior operations posts at Rentokil Initial Management and Europa
Facility Services.
The changes will more clearly focus reporting lines by
enlarging AMEC Facilities' three Business units to four, splitting one
of the current Resident Services Business Units into two separate profit
centres, each with its own management structure. AMEC Facilities is part
of AMEC, the international capital projects, services and investment group
which generated a turnover of £3.4 billion in 1998.
