FM Inter@ctive, FM Expos programme of free walk-in seminars, will
give visitors to the show a tour of information and communication technologies
which are already changing workplaces and facilities management. Speakers
will also look at the social and business implications.
The sessions, held on the floor of the exhibition, cover wireless technology,
voice over IP, internet, intranet and extranet applications. Presentations
include BTs Futurespace wireless workstation by Steve Cherry, Head
of Workplace Technology at BT; Work at home: reuniting the spheres by
Jeremy Myerson, Director at the Helen Hamlyn Research Centre; Whats
new (ways of working)?, Mick Bedford of Pringle Brandon; and Competitive
advantage through workplace evolution: the Sainsburys story, Stacey
Litwin-Davies.
i-FMs Editor Richard Byatt and Enigmas Fiona Perrin will also
be presenting on the use of the internet, intranets and extranets to deliver
FM information and services.
