The BBC has short-listed two consortia in the next stage of its property programme, namely the 2020 Insight and the Foresite Consortium. The 2020 Consortium includes Trillium and Land Securities plc and the Foresite Consortium members are Amey Ventures Ltd, Barclays Private Equity Ltd and Arrowcroft Group plc.
As previously reported, five consortia bid to manage the BBC’s £500m property portfolio earlier this year (see News story).
The BBC will now enter detailed negotiations with the Foresite Consortium and the 2020 Consortium and plans to pick a partner in March next year.
