Business infrastructure management company Citex has been
awarded a two-year contract to provide technical advisory services in
connection with the proposed PFI contract for Gloucestershire Magistrates
Courts Committee.
Citex will provide a range of technical, financial and FM consultancy
services and will also work in conjunction with specialist subcontractors,
including Online Architects and Ove Arup who will be giving support on
design and service matters respectively.
Citex recently provided PFI advisory services to the Northern Ireland
Courts Service and is working as project manager and quantity surveyor
at the new Civil Justice Centre in Bristol.
Nick Leaver, lead technical adviser at Citex said: "Citex has many
years experience dealing in this particular sector. Features particular
to Court buildings include an emphasis on good quality design, circulation
routes, security, acoustics and because of the civic nature of courts
- site, planning and heritage issues."
