CMG and Compaq have won the Cabinet Office Novus project to modernise
its IT infrastructure, worth £15m over the next five years.
The two companies will design, build, operate and support a computer
system for 1,500 users, mostly based in central London. Compaq - the incumbent
supplier for the last three years - will install a network and provide
on-site management of the Cabinet Office's IT assets. CMG will handle
consultancy and application development.
