Edward
Carter (pictured left) has been appointed Business Development Director
for AMEC Facilities. He joins AMEC with a strong track record in the facilities
industry with 18 years experience in FM and support service contracting,
most recently as a board director of WSP Facilities Management.
AMEC Facilities has also appointed John Stevens as General
Manager responsible for the development, proposal presentation and ultimately
the service delivery of the company's PFI projects.
John has over twenty years experience in property and estate
management, and worked for Wyseplant (Bovis) as commercial manager before
joining AMEC in 1998. Prior to his promotion, John was Commercial Manager
for AMECÕs Healthcare division with operational and P&L responsibility
for its FM business unit.
...and goes to the cinema
AMEC has been awarded a three-year building services maintenance
contract by Warner Village Cinemas for its UK portfolio of state-of-the-art
multiplex cinemas. This high-profile account, which started in the end
of January, covers more than 28 locations across the UK.
AMEC is providing engineers and support staff to undertake
the management, operation and maintenance of a wide range of services
at the cinema sites. This covers all mechanical and electrical systems,
air conditioning, fire and security systems.
