The
fifth annual National Summit on Building Performance takes place in
Washington this week (14th and 15th March). This year's theme is Corporate
Agility: Workplace and Infrastructure Management Strategies.
The two-day event features a keynote address by Ted Leonsis, newly appointed
vice chairman and new products officer for AOL, and three break-out
panels which will discuss the physical, technological and organisational
impact of agility, and consider the value of community and environment.
Leading business and building experts from Gartner Group and Architectural
Record, and Michael Joroff, author of Excellence by Design: Bridging
the Boundaries of Work, Process and Space, will moderate the panels
that include leaders from Procter & Gamble, Sun Microsystems, Hewlett
Packard and W.G.Reed and Associates.
The invitation-only event, to be held at the Ronald Reagan International
Trade Center Amphitheater, is sponsored by, amongst others, Johnson
Controls Inc, theAmerican Institute of Architects (AIA), the International
Facility Management Association (IFMA) and NACORE International.
