The
BIFM Awards programme has been expanded for 2001 due to the success
and credibility that the Office of the Year Awards created
as well as to reflect the growing importance of FM in todays
workplaces, says David Hogg, chairman of the judges.
One of the changes to the Office of the Year Awards is that
participants are encouraged to enter for an individual award even if
they have not been involved in any redevelopment or construction projects.
There are twelve award categories including Outstanding Student of the
Year, PFI/PPP Project of the Year, Environmental Impact Award, Customer
Service Initiative of the Year, Innovation Award and Facilities Manager
of the Year.
The awards will be presented on 17th October at the BIFM gala dinner
as part of a series of events linked to the BIFM annual conference and
FM-EXPO. Closing date for entries is 30th April.
