Cushman & Wakefield has elected O.B. (Barney) Upton
as executive vice president of corporate services. He will be responsible
for global coordination of all corporate services business, ensuring
consistent, quality service throughout the world.
"Barney's experience in directing the firm's national and international
corporate services business makes him an invaluable resource for clients,"
said CEO Mr Mirante. "His leadership since C&W founded its
corporate services business in 1993 has guided the firm to the position
of managing 188 corporate accounts around the world."
Mr Upton is a member of the International Development Resource Council
(IDRC), and currently serves as co-chair of the Leadership Development
Committee and on the Financial Review Board. He began his real estate
career in the late 1960s and is experienced at representing a broad
spectrum of clients in all phases of industrial and office real estate,
including new site or facility acquisition, surplus property disposal,
land assemblage for development, new development project marketing,
financing and investment property sales.
