The restructuring of the Dalkia Group - part of Vivendi
- continues with senior management changes set to cement the relationship
between the FM arm and other group companies.
Stewart
Wood (pictured), national operations director with Dalkia Workplace Services
(formerly Symonds FM) moves to become deputy managing director of Dalkia
AB in Sweden. Active in the FM profession, he is a fellow and former council
member of the BIFM, Wood's promotion follows a period spent in Australia
working on disposal of Dalkia Group assets.
Commenting on the change, Prue Redfern, Dalkia Workplace Services managing
director, said: "One objective behind the renaming of Symonds FM
in April was the desire for closer working integration between different
companies in the Dalkia Group, both in the UK and internationally. Stewarts
well deserved promotion is a very positive start to this. We look forward
to more inter-company moves within the Group which will bring fresh ideas
to benefit our growing customer base."
Dalkia Workplace Services has made other management team changes in response
to growth: Bill Coghill, who was project leader on the high profile BA
World Cargo contract, will become industrial & government sector operations
director; Paul Crook moves to commercial sector operations director and
Ken Coates to operations projects director. Andrew Reynolds takes over
responsibility as development director and Martin Jolly becomes director
of consultancy.
