Facilities management company Eurica, a subsidiary of Interior
Services Group, has formed a joint venture with the developers of the
leading business park, Stockley Park Consortium.
The new venture, to be known as Eurica (Stockley Park) Ltd will provide
estates services to occupiers, including cleaning, security and landscaping
as well as general management of the site. Specialist packages will include
telephone and concierge services. The new business will also control the
estates general amenities such as car parking and maintenance.
Stockley Park has provided a range of services to occupiers through Millbrook
Estates, however with the third phase of the park under construction the
consortium decided to concentrate on its core business and sought a reliable
partner.
The two companies have a connection through Stanhope, part of the original
development team for Stockley Park and Eurica already provides services
to tenants such as Equitable Life and EDS
Andrew Vander Meersch, chief executive of the Stockley Park consortium
and a director of ESP sees the new venture as facilitating and supporting
the property development business: "In a small way we have been in
the FM business for some time through running the estate here at Stockley
and providing a range of services to occupiers. I am delighted to merge
the FM business with Eurica and form this new joint venture. It's a very
compelling package."
Eurica chief executive Julian Squire told i-FM: "This is part of
the broader trend towards outsourcing of services. Stockley is showing
a desire to offer a wider range of services to its occupiers. The Stockley
name is strong and it's a great partnership."
All the employees and contracts of Millbrook will transfer to the new
company and Eurica will contribute expertise and systems. Although the
focus is very much on Stockley Park, the new venture will be able to pitch
for business in the wider Heathrow area.
