Select Facilities Services’ contract with BBC Wales has been extended for a further ten years.

Select, which has been working with BBC Wales for the last five years, provides various FM services to the BBC, from reception, security, portering and maintenance engineering to customer support services.

Pam Davies, Select’s on-site facilities co-ordinator, commented: "We have achieved a level of integration with the BBC which allows us to be part of the planning process, to anticipate and develop service solutions to a multitude of operational and management issues. Our focus on multi-skilling and our programme of staff training and development in all departments means we are equipped to tackle even the most unusual management task and frequently do."

The new agreement contains financial gainshare arrangements and capital investment payments to be made by Select.
