Ed Costelloe, Head of Professional Property Services at BT Property,
has been appointed Chairman of the Workplace Network (TWN), the international
network of senior executives which focuses on strategic and management
issues in property. He takes over from Robert Peck, Commissioner of the
GSAs Public Buildings Service. The US General Services Administration
provides work environments for over 1 million Federal employees across
the US.
TWN says that membership is restricted to large-scale organisations which
either own or lease millions of square feet and accommodate thousands
of employees. The key function of TWN is to provide opportunities for
benchmarking and exchange of best practice ideas between members.
Ed
Costelloe (pictured) commented: "TWN provides an informal opportunity
for property professionals from all over the world to share ideas and
information on the core issues affecting major occupiers and owners. Since
the Networks foundation in 1991, we have enjoyed Workshops across
the globe which have provided a wide range of benefits to our members."
Current membership is drawn from all over the world. TWN is especially
keen to recruit more private sector members and welcomes approaches from
the corporate sector. Interested parties are invited to contact Ed Costelloe,
ed.costelloe@bt.com.
