The International Facility Management Association (IFMA)
has contracted with Brussels-based European Association Services (EAS)
to represent the Association in Europe, provide support for its members
there and coordinate the annual World
Workplace Europe conference.
With more than 40 years experience in association management, EAS has
partner offices in Switzerland and the United States and also works with
consultants in Paris and London.
This new partnership helps strengthen the I in IFMA,
expands our presence in the European community, enhances the execution
of World Workplace Europe and ensures swift implementation of the Associations
strategic initiatives for the benefit of some of our fastest growing chapters,
said Dennis Longworth, IFMAs chief executive officer.
International associations and professional societies have special
needs. Volunteers often have limited hours to devote to their organization,
and members have greater expectations, said EAS Managing Director
Terrance Barkan. EAS provides a comprehensive range of professional
support services with a dedicated team of specialists, and we look forward
to using our skills to support IFMA members and advance the profession
on this continent.
Houston-based IFMA has approximately 17,600 members worldwide. EAS is
a joint partnership between General Headquarters Services in Zug, Switzerland
and Executive Director Inc. in Milwaukee.
