The Construction Best Practice Programme has launched its plan for the first part of the New Year and taken the opportunity to declare its intention to help improve corporate efficiency for both clients and contractors.

CBPP has convinced a range of companies to open their doors to interested visitors, including construction managers Mace (today - 12 January!), contractors Morrison (26 January), consulting engineers Oscar Faber (9 February) and client Defence Estates (9 February).

A series of productivity workshops has also been planned, covering Knowledge Management (Scotland, 13 January), Benchmarking and Key Performance Indicators (Manchester, 18 January), IT Cost Reduction (Newcastle, 3 February) and Value by Negotiation (London, 10 February).

Events with an environmental focus (organised in partnership with the Construction Industry Environmental Forum) are planned to cover a wide range of topics, including Design Tools for Environmental Management Best Practice in London (20 January), Manchester (24 January) and Scotland (26 January).
