Johnson Controls extends FM contract with Roche | |||
Johnson Controls has extended its facilities management contract with Hoffmann-La Roche (Roche) for a further three years. The new contract, worth an estimated $30m (£21m) per year, covers 325,000 sq m (3.5m sq ft) of facilities. Johnson Controls has provided FM services to support Roche's pharmaceutical operations in Nutley and Totowa, New Jersey, since 1998. Under the extended contract, Johnson Controls will provide maintenance and repair for the facilities interior, the building envelope as well as building and site equipment. The company will also manage the operation of utilities services, the computerised maintenance management system and the maintenance of HVAC and waste water systems. Other site services include mail centre services, landscaping, vehicle maintenance, site waste management and a recycling program. Kevin Craig, vice president and general manager at the Philadelphia Office of Johnson Controls said: "Our goal is to continue to provide strategic support to Roche and assist them in achieving their business goals across their entire portfolio. It is gratifying to be able to extend our relationship with Roche for another three years." |
