Johnson
Controls has won a three year FM contract with Infineum UK Ltd,
a fuel and lubricants additives company jointly owned by ExxonMobil
and Shell. Under the contract, worth £3m over the contract term,
Johnson Controls will provide full FM services at the companys
Milton Hill Business and Technology Centre in Oxfordshire.
The services, which are to be supplied at the 280,000 sq m (3m sq ft)
site accommodating 300 people, include technical M&E, laboratory
stewards, help desk, stores, reprographics and cleaning.
The director of UK business accounts at Johnson Controls, Mark Graveney,
commented on the deal: Infineum forms part of our interest in
the petrochemical industry. Strategically it is a key area for us and
further builds on our established relationship with ExxonMobil. Partnering
with Infineum creates an opportunity to share our expertise and help
Infineum exceed its business goals.
Caroline Stephen, facilities manager at Infineum said: Johnson
Controls has a pool of consultants with experience of working on other
client sites similar to our own. They are particularly strong in areas
of safety, health and the environment, which are of paramount importance
to us and this gives us complete confidence in entrusting our FM management
to them.
