Stanford University's School of Medicine has retained DEGW
North America, supported by Twynstra's Learning Environments team, to
prepare the strategic brief and program for the renovation of its medical
library and new education building.
This is an opportunity to develop a vision for new group
learning environments, reflecting changes in medical education and new
educational technologies. Facilities will incorporate the latest advances
in computer simulation technology, informatics, distance learning and
the use of standardised patients for clinical skills training and assessment.
The library will be fully integrated with the Learning Centre, extending
its services throughout the complex.
