Training initiatives from BIFM | |||
The British Institute of Facilities Management, BIFM, has just released its April training programme which includes two new features. For the first time BIFM is offering a series of one-day courses. The three topics are geared for the busy facilities manager who may not be able to afford a long period away from the office. The courses are Space Management, Services Level Agreements and Developing a Customer Focused FM Service. These courses will be presented in London on 10-12th April. The last two courses are complementary, the knowledge of Service Level Agreements being a vital tool in assuring a customer focused service, and can be booked together. Project Management is a new two-day course specially developed by Jim Ure of ABS Consulting for BIFM. This course will give facilities managers a thorough understanding of the art of project management and how it specifically relates to the duties and responsibilities of FM's. This course will be held in Swindon on 18-19th April, making full use of the residential training centre there.
