The International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has appointed
Geert Freling, CFM, president and chief executive officer of Facility
Management Schiphol Plc, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, as its 1999-2000 international
vice chair.
Gert Freeling has prior international experience. He started the privatised
limited company Facility Management Schiphol Plc, a subsidiary of Amsterdam
Airport Schiphol. He is responsible for the company's strategies, operations
and service delivery.
Freling has been a member of IFMA since 1993, and has served as the
Association's international secretary and regional vice president for
Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He was chairman of the European Operating
Committee and has played an active role in World Workplace-Europe, a Euro
FM/IFMA conference and exhibition on facility management.

on 15th December.
