BIFM launch innovative new website The FM industry has a new information resource at its fingertips in the shape of the British Institute of Facilities Management's new website. The website,
designed by on-line communications company Enigma, seeks to provide members
and newcomers with up-to-date FM news and information. BIFM has just under
6000 members which range across a broad spectrum of the FM industry and
include many students, FM professionals and FM organisations. Saul Shangher, PR and marketing manager, told i-FM: "We wanted to provide our members with a new innovative, interactive website where members and newcomers can go to find related FM information. BIFM Online also has a link to i-FM therefore has access to daily FM news stories." Dominic Treasure, client services director at Enigma, said of the website design: "BIFM wanted a site which was simple to use and easy to navigate. The ideology was to provide news and information in a professional manner - a resource of information, outlining training programmes and forthcoming events - ensuring BIFM is reflected as an open and approachable institute."
