Balfour Beattys asset and facilities management arm, Haden Building
Management, has been awarded two building management contracts with
KPMG and the Royal Bank of Scotland, together worth £40m.
The five-year contract for KPMG covers 42 sites across the UK and includes
the provision of M&E and building fabric maintenance.
At the Royal Bank of Scotland, Haden will manage and maintain 330 buildings
for five years as well as introduce Hadens integrated IT system
including a national help desk and the facility for hand held technology.
Balfour Beatty chief executive, Mike Welton, commented: The continuing
growth of Haden Building Management is a key part of Balfour Beattys
increasing involvement in outsourced services, which now account for
more than 30% of our sales.
